The 2019 Girls Junior America’s Cup kicks off July 28-August 1 with team Arizona set to compete at Bear Creek Golf Club, Murietta, California against an elite international field of teams representing British Columbia, Canadian Jr Golf Association, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Mexico, Montana, New Mexico, Northern California, Southern California, Northern Nevada, Southern Nevada, Oregon, San Diego, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Mattison Frick and Kobe Valociek Take Home Top Honors in the PING Invitational at The Legacy Golf Resort

In winning the Boys Championship, Kobe Valociek of Peoria blistered the par-71 golf course at The Legacy Golf Resort with rounds of 65 and 63 en route to a 14-under-par 128 at the PING Invitational held July 23-24. In the Girls Championship division, Peoria’s Mattison Frick posted 71-68 highlighted by an eagle in the final round on No. 8. She added two birdies on the way in to win for the second time this season.
