The Warren Schutte Invitational, the first PING Junior Masters Series tournament of the season, teed off January 25-26. Sponsored by Hilger Orthodontics, round one was held at Wigwam Golf Resort (Gold) and the final round at Palm Valley Golf Club.
Javier Delgadillo of El Paso, Texas came out on top in the Boys Championship division with a score of 6-under-par 138 at Raven Golf Club Phoenix, one stroke ahead of Alan Quezada of Phoenix and Cade Anderson of Scottsdale who both finished T2 with identical rounds of 69-70 (5-under-par 139).
The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) announced that it will host the ITTY BITTY OPEN on January 11, 2020 at 20 Valley-wide locations open to all youngsters ages 3-5 years old. The FREE event has three clinic times per location starting a 9, 10 and 11 am where juniors and their parents will learn the basics skills of golf taught by qualified PGA and LPGA professionals.

The JGAA Fall Classic teed off November 2-3 with Jacob Tarkany of Scottsdale posting a wire-to-wire win in the Boys Championship division with an opening round 4-under-par 67 followed by a 3-under-par 68 in the final round to finish at 7-under-par 135.
The JGAA announced the 2019 Sportsmanship and Player of the Year Awards across five age divisions at the annual awards banquet held October 20 at Papago Golf Course.
