The field features 84 of Arizona’s best junior golfers (48 boys and 36 girls) ranging in age from 13-18 competing in the third PING Junior Masters Series tournament on the 2021 JGAA schedule.

The Phoenix Metro Junior Championship presented by Van’s Golf Shops teed off February 20-21, with the Boys Championship division competing at Stone Creek Golf Club. Bryan Beyer of Mesa opened a four-stroke lead in the first round after firing a 5-under 66, which included four birdies and an eagle.

Three former Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) members recently posted collegiate golf wins within days of each other. Trevor Werbylo earned a share of the individual and team titles at The Prestige held February 15-17 while Michael Feagles won both titles at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate contested Feb. 14-16. And Gavin Cohen prevailed in a playoff at the Nick Watney Invitational Feb 8-9.
