JGAA Members Beau Ellington & Alyssa Rigby Capture First AZ Golf Title at 2025 Arizona Women’s Four-Ball Championship

We’re thrilled to congratulate current members Beau Ellington and Alyssa Rigby on their impressive win at the 2025 Arizona Women’s Four-Ball Championship, held April 5-6 at Briarwood Country Club.

Competing in a field stacked with top talent, Ellington and Rigby posted rounds of 67-67 to finish at 10-under par, securing a one-shot overall gross victory and their first Arizona Golf Association championship title. On top of that, they claimed the win as the youngest players in the field at just 13 and 14 years old. JGAA member Asia Young and Natalie Yen earned 1st gross honors and finished one stroke behind Ellington and Rigby.

After starting the final round two strokes behind the leaders, the momentum shifted when Beau Ellington dropped a clutch eagle from 78 yards out, pulling a 54-degree wedge and holing it out for the team’s second eagle of the week. The shot tied things up after 10 holes and electrified their final round push—just a day after Alyssa Rigby canned an eagle of her own on No. 4 in round one. The final round was highlighted by seven birdies and clutch putting when it mattered most.

The win reflects their strong team dynamic and individual skill, as both players made key contributions throughout the two-day event. With this victory, Ellington and Rigby add their names to a growing list of JGAA players making waves in competitive golf across the state.

Congratulations to Beau and Alyssa on a memorable win—we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
