The JGAA celebrates alumna Mia Cesarek’s recent win at the 2025 Utah Golf Association (UGA) WinterChamps. Her breakthrough performance not only secured her the championship title but also earned her an exemption into the Epson Tour’s Copper Rock Championship, scheduled for May 15-17, 2025, at Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah. The tournament used the modified Stableford scoring system, which awards four points for an eagle, three points for a birdie, two points for a par, one point for a bogey and zero points for a double-bogey or worse. Cesarek pulled away with the victory by one point on Sunday after scoring 35 points with 17 pars and one bogey for a final round 1-over 73.

The EPSON Tour, recognized as the official qualifying tour for the LPGA, offers players like Cesarek a platform to compete at higher levels. Her upcoming participation in the Copper Rock Championship not only highlights her individual achievements but also underscores the quality of talent fostered by the JGAA.

As Cesarek prepares to tee off alongside seasoned professionals in May, the JGAA community extends its heartfelt congratulations and unwavering support.
