JGAA Members,
The Junior Golf Association of Arizona is looking forward to resuming the 2020 tournament schedule, with new health and safety guidelines in place as a requirement for participation. We ask everyone to follow these guidelines for the health and safety of all.

May 6th –
JGAA Members,
We are excited to announce we will be resuming our JGAA tournament schedule beginning with the Tucson City Junior Championship, May 27-28.
The safety and health of our players, spectators, volunteers and staff is our first priority. During the next few weeks, we will be outlining our updated guidelines to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe competing in JGAA events.

Based on the guidance from our Board of Directors, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state golf associations and junior golf tours, we have the following event updates:
May 16-17: Yuma City Junior – Canceled
May 17: Thunderbird High School Senior Classic – Postponed
Safety for our members, spectators, staff, volunteers, partners and host facilities is our number-one priority. The impact of the COID-19 has associations around the globe navigating in uncharted waters. We are in constant communication with our allied associations and partners, as we all look for best practices for safeguarding a bright future.
We will continue to evaluate our summer schedule and will make announcements as needed. We appreciate your patience.

JGAA Members,
Based on the guidance from our Board of Directors, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state golf associations and junior golf tours, we have decided to cancel our Quintero Cactus Cup, May 2-3. Juniors signed up for this event will receive a 100% refund.
Safety for our members, spectators, staff, volunteers, partners and host facilities is our number-one priority. The impact of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has associations around the globe navigating in uncharted waters. We are in constant communication with our allied associations and partners, as we all look for best practices for safeguarding a bright future.
We will continue to evaluate our May and summer schedule and will make announcements as needed. We appreciate your patience.

JGAA Members,
Based on the guidance from our Board of Directors, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state golf associations and junior golf tours, we have decided to cancel our events through the end of April. This includes the Tucson Spring Championship (April 18-19) and the Jr World Qualifier (April 25-26). Juniors signed up for these events will receive a 100% refund.
We may use an existing early-June JGAA event to serve as the first June World Qualifier event. Once we finalize this decision, we will notify you immediately.

Due to the growing health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the JGAA has decided to cancel the Bryce Molder Invitational, scheduled for March 28-29, at McDowell Mountain Golf Club.
We will continue to evaluate our upcoming tournament schedule and will make announcements as needed.

The JGAA is closely monitoring the situation surrounding the Corona virus (COVID-19). Our first priority remained the health and safety of our players, families, staff, volunteers, golf course hosts, partners and friends.
We are evaluating our upcoming tournament schedule and will make announcements soon. Updates will be made via email, our website www.jgaa.org and social media as our next steps become clear.

JGAA Desert Mashie participants,
Due to growing health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we made the decision to cancel the JGAA Desert Mashie Spring Championship scheduled for this weekend at Encanto Golf Course and Cave Creek Golf Course. The JGAA will give a 100-percent refund for the Desert Mashie Spring Championship entry fee.
Our first priority remains the health and safety of our players, families, staff, volunteers, golf course hosts, partners and friends.Regarding future JGAA tournaments, the JGAA will continue to monitor public health developments and evaluate its schedule as needed.
