Mesa Country Club recently served (June 20) as the local qualifier for the 2022 U.S. Girls’ Junior, with Jennifer Seo of Chandler, ChunWei Wu of Taiwan and Sammie Olson of Phoenix advancing to the championship, set for July 18-23 at The Club at Olde Stone, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
With 260 junior golfers age 8-18, the 2022 Thunderbird Junior Classic teed off June 15-16 at Camelback, Orange Tree and Biltmore Golf Clubs. Two players finished tied for first place in the Boys Championship division at 6-under par:

The JGAA’s State Junior Golf Championship teed off June 13-14 at Peoria’s Blackstone Country Club, with Chandler’s Camden Kunkel jumping out to the first round lead after a 5-under 67.
