UArizona alumnus closes out first professional title with final-round 67
Born and raised in the Old Pueblo, Trevor Werbylo entered the JGAA Boys 11-10 age division in 2010. Eleven years later: he earned his first professional win on the Forme Tour at The Fuzzy Zoeller Classic at Covered Bridge Golf Club. Werbylo closed with a clutch 4-under 67, only one stroke better than A.J. Crouch.
“I’m obviously super excited and happy to have won. It got a little stressful on the back nine,” Werbylo said. “I hit a few bad shots and made a couple of bogeys, but a win’s a win, so to get the win is beyond exciting.”
