The JGAA is thrilled to announce that Alexis Lamadrid has achieved her second American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) victory at the AJGA Huntsville Junior. Alexis clinched with a wire-to-wire performance.
Throughout the tournament, held at the scenic Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove, Alexis maintained her lead, showcasing consistency on the course. She finished with a noteworthy score, leading the Girls Division leaderboard.
Alexis opened the tournament with an impressive 3-under-par 69, setting the tone for the competition. She maintained her lead in the second round, shooting a solid even-par 72. On the final day, Alexis demonstrated her championship poise, closing with a 1-under-par 71. Her total score of 212 (4-under-par) was enough to secure a four-stroke victory over the runner-up.
