The JGAA is thrilled to announce that Alexis Lamadrid has achieved her second American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) victory at the AJGA Huntsville Junior. Alexis clinched with a wire-to-wire performance.
Throughout the tournament, held at the scenic Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove, Alexis maintained her lead, showcasing consistency on the course. She finished with a noteworthy score, leading the Girls Division leaderboard.
Alexis opened the tournament with an impressive 3-under-par 69, setting the tone for the competition. She maintained her lead in the second round, shooting a solid even-par 72. On the final day, Alexis demonstrated her championship poise, closing with a 1-under-par 71. Her total score of 212 (4-under-par) was enough to secure a four-stroke victory over the runner-up.
This victory marks Alexis’s second AJGA win, reinforcing her status as one of the rising stars in junior golf. Her dedication to the sport and relentless pursuit of excellence continue to inspire her peers and the entire JGAA community.
