Team Arizona – featuring Owen Bolles, Henry Dall, Nicholas Lyman and Trey Moore– came in eighth place at the 2024 Hogan Cup held at Riverside Golf & Country Club in Portland, Oregon, August 10-11. Southern California captured first place at a noteworthy 14-under par as a team.
Making it to the final day of play, the former JGAA player had her eyes set on the championship with a key matchup against No. 6 seed Rianne Malixi of the Philippines. The contest put on a full display of superb golf between the two amateurs.

Scottsdale’s Matthew McCarty fired 25-under par (65-67-65-66) at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield, Missouri to win the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper by three strokes over Tommy Gainey.
For the second year, the Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) held the Sam Schanafelt Summer Classic in Scottsdale at Kierland Golf Club and Starfire Golf Club. Contested July 17-18, the event commemorates Sam Schanafelt, a fellow JGAA member who tragically lost his life in a 2022 automobile accident.
