JGAA Alumni Johnnie Clark dominated the Arizona Stroke Play Championship. He concluded the event at 19-under par for a five-shot victory.
Team Arizona – featuring Owen Bolles, Henry Dall, Nicholas Lyman and Trey Moore– came in eighth place at the 2024 Hogan Cup held at Riverside Golf & Country Club in Portland, Oregon, August 10-11. Southern California captured first place at a noteworthy 14-under par as a team.
Making it to the final day of play, the former JGAA player had her eyes set on the championship with a key matchup against No. 6 seed Rianne Malixi of the Philippines. The contest put on a full display of superb golf between the two amateurs.
JGAA alum Michael Feagles of Scottsdale captured the 81st Arizona Open Championship, firing 14-under par (66-65-65) at Papago Golf Course to win the 54-hole competition by one stroke over Mesa’s hard-charging Mark Baldwin.
Brody Leid of Phoenix topped the 16-players field in the Boys Championship division to win the 2024 Arizona Junior Match Play Championship contested at the Estancia Club, July 25-26.
The 2024 Junior America’s Cup takes place July 28-August 1 at Solider Hollow Golf Club in Midway, Utah.
