Former Salpointe Catholic High School golfer and JGAA alum Mackenzie McRee led the Ohio Bobcats to its first team title since 2017 at the 2024 Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo University. The Tucson native recorded rounds of 76 and 72 on day one, before finishing Tuesday with a 73 for a total tournament score of 221 (+5) and her first-place finish.

Scottsdale residents Brian Blanchard, 31, and his left-handed partner Sam Engel, 29, known as “Team Software,” clinched the title over two promising teenagers from Tennessee, Blades Brown, 17, and Jackson Herrington, 18, in the 18-hole championship match, winning 2-up.
