The JGAA PING Jr Master’s Series events are for the competitive junior golfer looking to play against the best competition in Arizona. You MUST be in the Championship Division in order to play in these tournaments. They are not first come, first serve; Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings are used to determine the field.
The first week after registration opens is a priority window for Arizona residents with the following rankings only; anyone who does not meet this criteria will be put on the waitlist for the first week:
• Boys AZ JGS Ranking: 1,800 or below
• Girls AZ JGS Ranking: 1,300 or below
After the first week; Out of state residents and Arizona residents ranked above 1,800 (boys) and 1,300 (girls) will fill remaining spots based on their JGS ranking until the field is full (lowest rankings get admitted first). If you have a low ranking and do not sign up for the event before it is full, you will be put on the waitlist.
The Committee reserves the right to add players via a committee, host course and/or sponsor selection. We will only accept up to 20% of the field as out of state players for each division to leave priority for Arizona residents to participate.
