My favorite JGAA moment was during the 2017 JGAA State Championship at Forest Highlands in Flagstaff. I played very well and was able to be paired in the second-to-last group of the championship, playing ahead of one of my best friends and high school teammate, Jonathan Walters. After finishing my round, I had the neat opportunity to see him finish the last hole, a beautiful 18th up the hill in front of the clubhouse. Jonathan and Mason Quagliata tied that year and went into a sudden-death playoff. For me as a junior golfer, the emotions of that finish were the highlight of my golf career.
