Tucker Clark, JGAA class of 2020, wasted no time making an impact for Notre Dame Golf with an October 13 victory at a GCAA Amateur Series tournament held at Old Oakland Golf Club in Indianapolis.

Although Clark breezed through the first 36 holes, firing rounds of 5-under 67 and 2-under 70, closing out the competition was anything but easy. A final-round, even-par 72 landed him in the middle of a four-way playoff at 7-under-par 209 alongside UTEP’s Danny Daniels, Miami of Ohio’s Danny Fisher, and Clark’s fellow Fighting Irish teammate Andrew O’Leary.

The foursome returned to the 18 hole, where in regulation play, Clark was the only one who didn’t make birdie. He and O’Leary did manage to make birdies, while Daniels and Fisher were eliminated. The two then matched scores for six more holes until Clark came out on top with a par on the 61st hole of the tournament.

Congratulations Tucker on an impressive win!
