The 2025 JGAA season continued with the fourth stop of the PING Junior Masters Series — the Bryce Molder Invitational presented by Trident Capital Partners — held May 11–12 at Grayhawk Golf Club’s Raptor Course, host of the 2021–2023 NCAA Division I Golf Championships. The prestigious event welcomed 48 of Arizona’s top boys and 18 elite girls to compete on one of the toughest tests in the state.

In the Boys Championship Division, Owen Greenough of Chandler delivered an impressive performance to claim his first PING Junior Masters title and his first win of the 2025 season. After an even-par 72 in round one left him one shot off the lead, the Hamilton High School standout fired a bogey-free 3-under 69 in gusty 25 mph winds — the lowest score of the tournament. Greenough carded three birdies and no mistakes to leapfrog the field and win by four strokes at 3-under par overall.

Landon Ashcraft of Scottsdale finished solo second at 1-over par, while Jake Goyen of Mesa took third at 2-over.

In the Girls Championship Division, Ashley Gettleman of California held off a tight field to pick up a hard-fought victory. After opening with an even-par 72, she led by two heading into Sunday’s final round. The windy conditions added plenty of drama, and a double bogey on the par-5 7th opened the door for challengers. But Gettleman responded with a steady back nine, posting seven pars and two bogeys to finish at 5-over par for the tournament — just one shot ahead of Kaitlyn Moreland of Scottsdale and Hailey Kim of California, who tied for second at 6-over.

The PING Junior Masters Series, established in 2015, is a five-tournament invitational circuit held at premier venues across Arizona. Tailored for the state’s top-ranked juniors, the fields are limited to players ranked inside the top 3,500 (boys) and top 1,500 (girls) on the Junior Golf Scoreboard.

“We’re thrilled to witness the transformative effect these tournaments have on our young golfers, providing them with a launching pad to elevate their game,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA. “Watching their growth and giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent on elite stages is priceless for our JGAA community.”
