
The JGAA proudly congratulates Landon Ashcraft on his stunning victory at the 2026 Saguaro Amateur, played across Ocotillo–Sky Golf Course in Chandler and Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona.
Ashcraft, a Scottsdale native and senior at Notre Dame High School who has signed with Texas A&M University for the fall of 2026, finished the 54-hole championship at 12-under par (203) to claim the title. He closed with rounds of 64-70-69, ultimately winning by two shots over a competitive field and taking home both the Saguaro Amateur trophy and the 2025–26 Saguaro Amateur Series Player of the Year honor.
The JGAA congratulates Landon on his impressive performance, which capped off a tremendous stretch of golf for the young competitor. Ashcraft’s win at the Saguaro Amateur adds to an already impressive amateur resume that includes multiple tournament victories and top finishes across the region.
The Saguaro Amateur is a 54-hole, no cut, men’s amateur golf tournament being played at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, one of the most prestigious public courses in Arizona. The Saguaro Amateur is considered as an established national amateur golf championship.
As a long-standing member of the JGAA community and a standout on junior golf leaderboards, Landon continues to represent Arizona golf with distinction on some of the biggest stages in amateur competition.
