The 2026 Generous Game Classic kicked off the new JGAA season with more than 300 junior golfers ages 8-18 from across the Valley competing in five age groups at Raven Golf Club, Arizona Biltmore Golf Club and Ken McDonald Golf Course. With 68 junior golfers competing in the Boys Championship division at Raven Golf Club, it was one of the biggest turnouts in tournament history. Eventual winner Easton Rieschl of Scottsdale trailed the first-round leader by a couple strokes. Rieschl turned it up a notch on day two, catching fire after an eagle on the par-5 9th to shift the momentum in his favor and separate himself from the pack. He went on a tear down the final stretch, carding a bogey-free back nine capped off by three birdies to record a 5-under 67 to rally and come from behind for the victory. Rieschl wound up outlasting his fellow competitors in the hunt by three strokes to finish the event at 4-under, securing his second straight win after his recent success in the Winter Classic last month. Cody Richardson of Gilbert earned second-place honors at 1-under (71-72-143), while Vincent Vanliere of South Dakota took third place at 1-over par.

Contested at Arizona Biltmore’s Estates Course, Kaitlyn Moreland of Scottsdale controlled the leaderboard both days and held onto her first-round lead after firing off a 1-under-par 70. She recorded the only round in red figures out of the entire field of 24 players, propelling her to clinch the Girls Championship division by three shots at 1-over par (70-73-143). The win marks her first since the First Citizens Bank Fall Classic a year ago. Emmerson Hinds of Nevada finished runner up at 4-over par (71-75-146) and Claire Brooks of Scottsdale rounds out the podium in third place at 5-over par (74-73-147).

In the Boys 15-18 division competition held at Raven GC, Jonny Conkling of Phoenix prevails in a head-to-head playoff against Scottsdale’s Ethan Leslie to secure first place. At Ken McDonald Golf Course, Phoenix Button of Chandler finished at 1-under-par 142 (68-74) to win the Boys 13-14 division by a slim margin. Joey Morin of Gilbert (38-39) dominates the Boys 11-12 division by a staggering eight strokes at 5-over par to go back-to-back after topping the Boys 10 & Under division last year. Emery Bingham of Glendale (37-38) won the Boys 10 and Under division by a comfortable five strokes at 3-over par.

On Arizona Biltmore’s Estates Course, Kimsey Terrell of Phoenix won in the Girls 15-18 division at 7-over par (74-75-149). At Ken McDonald Golf Course, Leilani Herzberg of Gilbert edges the field by three shots to claim the Girls 13-14 Division at 6-over par (74-76-150). Annie Do of Phoenix won the Girls 11-12 division at 12-over par (44-40). Phoenician Julee Diaz captured first place honors in the Girls 10 & Under division at 15-over par (43-44).
