The Junior America’s Cup features 18 teams of four boys representing their state, province, or country. The 54-hole team competition uses a collegiate-style format, counting the three lowest scores each round. The team with the lowest three-day aggregate earns the Junior America’s Cup title and takes home the championship trophy and medals.
Now in its 53rd year, the 2025 Junior America’s Cup marks the fourth time the event has been hosted by the Oregon Golf Association. The most recent OGA-hosted event took place in 2008 at Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, Washington, where Southern California captured the title. That year’s field featured future PGA Tour star Patrick Cantlay.
The Junior America’s Cup has long been a proving ground for elite junior talent, with notable alumni including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Cantlay, Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau, and many others.
