Scoring
Requirements
Players must be tournament ready in order to compete in our events. This includes understanding and implementing proper golf course etiquette/course management, understanding the rules of golf, and being able to achieve the score criteria below:
- Ages 13-18: 115 or better on an 18-hole, par 72 course.
- Ages 8-12: +20 over par or better on a 9-hole course.
New golfers who have not played in competitive tournaments before can reach out to mckenzie@jgaa.org for more beginner friendly resources.
Eligibility
Open to amateurs ages 8-18 and not currently enrolled in post high school continuing education (college/university, online classes, trade/vocational school, apprenticeship programs). Out of state and international players are welcome to join.
