Saturday, October 1st | Bear Creek Golf Club
The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) will host a fundraising event to benefit local junior golf programs where participants play 100 holes of golf in one day. In its 15th year, participants first solicit sponsorship pledges from various donors who may contribute anywhere from 50 cents to $50 per hole. Then, on Saturday, October 1, the participants come together at Bear Creek Golf Complex’s Cub Course to play the 100 holes.
“We have a lot of fun with this every year,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA. “Although it may seem like a grind when we say ‘100 hole marathon,’ everybody finishes the day with a smile on their face. And, of course, the funds are critical to our efforts to educate, motivate and inspire our future community leaders through the game of golf.”
