The Tucson Conquistadores have long served as a steadfast supporter of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, playing an essential role in the continued growth and success of junior golf throughout Southern Arizona.
This past weekend, the 2026 JGAA Tucson Conquistadores Spring Classic was contested at El Rio Golf Course and Silverbell Golf Course, bringing together 237 junior golfers for a weekend of competition, development, and camaraderie. As JGAA Executive Director Scott McNevin noted, “It is because of the support of the Conquistadores that the JGAA is able to maintain low entry fees and create a positive experience for all participants.”
In addition to the Spring Classic, the Tucson Conquistadores also serve as the title sponsor of the long-standing Tucson City Junior Championship, held at the Randolph Golf Complex, utilizing both the Randolph North and Dell Urich courses. Their continued commitment has helped ensure the event remains a cornerstone of junior golf in the region.
Through their sustained investment and partnership, the Tucson Conquistadores continue to strengthen opportunities for young golfers across Southern Arizona, supporting not only competitive play but also the friendships, character development, and lifelong connections that grow through the game.
