The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) is proud to recognize Cheese ‘N Stuff as the Title Sponsor of the Willie Low Invitational. Their continued support helps provide an exceptional championship experience for Arizona’s junior golfers while advancing the JGAA’s mission to educate, motivate, and inspire youth through the game of golf.

Now owned and operated by Tom and Julie Palmer, Cheese ‘N Stuff has long been a respected Arizona business built on community, family, and a commitment to serving others. Those same values align closely with the mission of the JGAA and the lasting legacy of the Palmer family within Arizona junior golf. The Willie Low Invitational is a special event on the JGAA calendar, honoring one of the organization’s early supporters while bringing together talented junior golfers from across the state to compete, grow, and represent the values that make the game of golf so impactful.

Through Cheese ‘N Stuff’s title sponsorship, young athletes are provided the opportunity to experience a premier tournament environment, create lasting memories, and celebrate the traditions that make junior golf special. Adding to the experience, Cheese ‘N Stuff generously provided their famous sandwiches for all players, staff, and volunteers to enjoy throughout the event. As part of this year’s tournament, the JGAA presented the Optimist Award to Nolan Wilson. This special recognition honors the legacy of Payne Palmer, Tom Palmer’s father and one of the founding fathers of the JGAA, who we sadly lost earlier this year. Payne was known throughout the golf community for his unwavering optimism, positive outlook, and ability to encourage those around him.

The Optimist Award celebrates a player who embodies those same qualities and represents the spirit Payne brought to junior golf in Arizona. The JGAA is incredibly grateful to Tom, Julie, and the entire Cheese ‘N Stuff team for their commitment to junior golf and their continued investment in Arizona’s young athletes.

Their partnership ensures that the Willie Low Invitational remains a meaningful event that celebrates competition, character, and the lasting impact of those who have helped build the JGAA into what it is today.
