Shoutout to JGAA’s own Frederick Egnatios of Scottsdale for his remarkable victory at the 2025 Imperial Hawai‘i Junior Classic at Pearl at Kalauao. This milestone marks the first AJGA event held in Hawai‘i, and Frederick’s triumph underscores the strength and talent emerging from Arizona’s junior golf community.
Competing against a field of 49 top junior golfers from the national junior amateur circuit, Frederick demonstrated exceptional skill and poise down the stretch. He secured the Boys Division title with a final score of 1-under-par 215, later capping off the dub in a thrilling three-hole playoff. Frederick’s final-round 3-under-par 69 was the lowest of the tournament, showcasing his resilience and determination under pressure.
Reflecting on his maiden win, Frederick shared, “This win means a lot; I’ve been working really hard this summer, and it shows that the effort is starting to pay off.”
The JGAA is immensely proud of Frederick’s accomplishment and looks forward to supporting his continued growth and development in the sport.
