Despite challenging weather, the 13th Annual Girls Golf Day brought together an incredible community of young golfers, families, coaches, and supporters on October 10, 2026, at Grass Clippings. The enthusiasm, determination, and energy of the Girls Golf community never wavered even when the lightning and wind tried to take us down!

Approximately 60 girls (ages 3-18) competed in the Girls Golf Day tournament, while more than 20 additional girls participated in the Practice Swing event, creating opportunities for golfers of all experience levels to learn, play, and connect through the game. Participants enjoyed instruction from Vision54, PGA/LPGA Professionals, and teen leaders, with hands-on stations focused on putting, chipping, and range/full-swing skills.

The event featured an outstanding lineup of on-site supporting vendors, including PING, Scheels Chandler, Sophia Scott Clothing, and AZ Golf. A successful silent auction added to the excitement, while the event’s giant pink tournament trophies made the day even more memorable for the girls! Behind the scenes, an incredible team of volunteers and coaches worked tirelessly to ensure the event was a success, demonstrating the power of a community committed to empowering the next generation of female golfers.

Led by Girls Golf of Phoenix Director Cori Matheson and Event Assistant Cassidy Chase, the 13th Annual Girls Golf Day was a true celebration of perseverance, friendship, and the lifelong benefits of golf. Families who braved the weather helped make this an energizing and successful day! Girls Golf Day 2026 was filled with smiles, accomplishments, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Rain or shine, Girls Golf Day is about so much more than golf. It’s about building confidence, creating connections, and empowering girls to shine – on and off the course. Thank you to everyone involved!
