October 4-5, 2024 | Dobson Ranch Golf Course, Mesa, AZ
This year’s 11th Annual Girls Golf Day was a massive hit, bringing together the next generation of female golfers for two days of fun, learning, and inspiration. The event kicked off with a special proclamation by Mesa Mayor Giles on October 5, officially declaring it “Girls Golf Day” in the City of Mesa.
Friday Night Pep Rally
The event kicked off with a vibrant Pep Rally on Friday evening. There were 11 vendors on-site showcasing a variety of golf-related products and 11 auction items that helped raise an impressive $1.3K for the event’s fundraising efforts. We had a fantastic turnout of 55 girls at the Pep Rally, excited and eager for the weekend ahead. Expert instruction took place from 4 LPGA Professionals, with support from Vision 54, Pops Jr. Golf, and the GCU Women’s Golf Team, making the evening a perfect start to the weekend.
Saturday Tournament
On Saturday, the girls showcased their skills in the tournament, which saw 60 young golfers participating in a fun and competitive event. A remarkable number of young players, with half of the field being under the age of 8, highlighting the promise and talent of this next generation of golfers.
Event Partners and Sponsors
Girls Golf Day wouldn’t have been possible without the support of 21 amazing event partners and sponsors, including PING, JGAA (Junior Golf Association of Arizona), Coconads, Vision54, and many more. Their contributions helped create a memorable experience for all involved.
This two-day event was not only about golf but also about fostering confidence, teamwork, and camaraderie among these young athletes. The future of girls’ golf looks bright, with so many enthusiastic and talented players ready to take on the sport!
