The Junior Golf Association of Arizona is proud to recognize Keckstrong for its continued commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for the next generation of golfers. Through the Keckstrong Chandler City Junior Classic, held each September, Keckstrong helps create a competitive and memorable experience for JGAA members while carrying forward the legacy of Jeremy Keck, a former JGAA alum whose passion for golf and commitment to others continue to inspire.
The Keckstrong Chandler City Junior Classic is at the heart of Keckstrong’s partnership with the JGAA. The event gives young golfers the opportunity to compete, challenge themselves, build friendships, and experience the game Jeremy loved. More than simply a tournament, the Keckstrong Chandler City Junior Classic serves as a lasting connection between Jeremy’s legacy and the next generation of Arizona golfers.
The junior event is made possible through the generosity generated by the Keckstrong Classic, an annual event created by Jeremy’s friends and family following his passing in 2020. Held at Papago Golf Club, the Keckstrong Classic brings together Jeremy’s friends, colleagues, and members of the commercial construction industry to celebrate his life and continue the positive influence he had on those around him. Proceeds from the event directly support the Keckstrong Junior Classic and other educational initiatives.
Keckstrong’s impact extends beyond the junior tournament. Funds raised also provide scholarships for JGAA graduating seniors pursuing higher education, helping young golfers take the next step in their academic and professional journeys. In addition, Keckstrong supports the Arizona Builders Association through scholarships for young people pursuing education and careers in the construction industry.
Through the Keckstrong Chandler City Junior Classic, scholarships, and support of future construction professionals, Keckstrong has created a meaningful way to ensure Jeremy’s legacy continues to make a difference. His love of golf now provides opportunities for the next generation, while his commitment to helping others lives on through education, competition, and community.
