One of my favorite JGAA memories was during a tournament round when our group got backed up on the course, leaving us waiting on nearly every tee box. Instead of getting frustrated, it turned into one of the most enjoyable rounds I’ve played. The four of us started talking more between shots—sharing stories about our seasons, joking around, and just enjoying being out there together. What could have been a long, slow day ended up being one of the most memorable because of the people I was with.

I specifically remember standing on one of the back-nine tee boxes, all of us laughing and talking while waiting for the group ahead to clear. In that moment, the pressure of the tournament kind of faded, and it reminded me why I fell in love with golf in the first place. Even though we were competing, there was a genuine sense of camaraderie and respect.

That round stuck with me because it showed me that JGAA is about more than just scores and competition—it’s about the friendships and shared experiences you gain along the way.
