One of my favorite JGAA memories isn’t even from a win it was after a terrible first round, when I got off the course and talked to my coach, who reminded me that one round doesn’t define me as a player. The next day, I came out and tied the course record to force a playoff, and even though I lost on the fifth hole, it taught me that things can turn around no matter how bad they seem. Through it all, the JGAA staff were incredibly supportive, always encouraging every player no matter how they performed.
