Team Oregon pulled away from the field to win the 48th Eddie Hogan Cup Team Matches held August 13-14, with teammates Samuel Pyon and Craig Ronne sharing co-medalist honors after the final putt dropped at Riverside Golf & Country Club in Portland, Oregon. The champs fired a sizzling 217-211—428, 4-under par to take top honors, a whopping 12 strokes better than second-place finishers, Southern California, which shot 223-217 – 440 (+8).

Team Arizona – made up of Gilbert’s Brock Goyen, Matt Schwab and Zach Burkholder both of Chandler and Brian Seo of Phoenix – came in 9th place with a score of 223-232—455 (+23). Seo posted the best individual score for the team at even par (70-74—144) for the tournament, which was enough to earn 6th-place individually.
