The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) is hosting a fundraising event on Sunday, October 1 in which supporters play 100 holes of golf in one day. In its 16th year, participants first solicit sponsorship pledges ranging from 50 cents to $50 per hole before gathering at Mountain Shadows Golf Resort to play the 100 holes. All funds benefit local junior golf programs.

“We have a lot of fun with this event every year,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA. “The golfers who participate are passionate about golf with a common goal of getting more kids involved. The funds they raise help create the foundation for lifetime of enjoyment in the game whether the juniors go on to compete at the highest level or play recreationally with family and friends.”
